Former Proud Boys leader Arrested near US Capitol
The US Capitol Police arrested Enrique Tarrio, former Proud Boys leader, after a rally near the US Capitol in Washington, D.C., on Friday. Tarrio was in DC for an event with other pardoned Jan. 6 defendants. Police said they arrested Tarrio for “simple assault” after officers saw him strike the arm and phone of a female counter-protester.
