Created by Jesse Armstrong, Succession follows the story of the Waystar RoyCo family as the founder, Logan Roy (Brian Cox), begins to lose health due to his age, while each of his four children, Roman (Kieran Culkin), Connor (Alan Ruck), Siobhan (Sarah Snook) and Kendall (Jeremy Strong) begin to fight over the future of the company.
In an exclusive interview with uInterview, Ruck discussed how he felt about the ending of the series.
“I think Jesse’s right to end it now,” he said. “I think we’ll go out on a real high. I think it’s the best season we’ve got really and we’ve done some pretty good stuff, you know, but I think it’s our best season. I think he’s smart to end it now, we’ll go out on a high note. I miss everybody but that’s how it goes.”
Ruck also revealed his favorite scene of the series.
“I had a lot of fun in the first season when I was in charge of the Charity Ball and the butter was frozen, yeah, I had a lot of fun in that episode,” he said. “I just got to totally lose my mind, you know. I got to tell people they were fired and then I got to tell people that was in love with them, I mean, I got to go up and down and up and down and up and down, that’s great.”
Succession can be streamed on HBO Max. Season 4 premieres on March 24.
