My Undorthhox Life reality TV star Julia Haart gave insight into what her life has been like outside of her $1 billion divorce from ex Silvio Scaglia in her new uInterview.
In 2022, Haart was fired from the modeling agency she and Scaglia ran together. She proceeded to sue Scaglia for her termination when she believed she had 50% ownership of the company; however, in court company documents exposed that Scaglia had secretly given Haart 49.9% shares, which solidified him in control of the agency. Haart’s case was thrown out in 2023, but Haart continued to advocate for herself. The original dismissal of the case was overturned by New York State’s highest court in October.
Haart previously gave uInterview a detailed account of her legal ordeal.
“I’ve managed to build another successful brand in the last two years,” told uInterview founder Erik Meers. :So this company is called ‘Body by Julia Haart’. It’s a shape-wear brand but it’s not like anything you’ve ever seen. We launched our first collection in June 2023. Last month, we just finished our second round of funding inn literally 13 months, $50 million in 13 months.”
She laughed, “I’m a machine! I’m terrible when it comes to my personal life, but when it comes to business, this I understand, this is what I’m good at, you know? And I love it more than anything on Earth, I love creating!”
Haart explained where the origin of her idea came from. “My whole thing is about freeing women from discomfort,” she said. “It really bugs me that there’s $8 billion worth of women wearing shapewear, but all of them want to hide it. I go, ‘This is crazy!’ And the reason that the shapewear is so ugly is because it’s so heavily elasticated. We had to change the way we color clothing.”
She continued, “It’s just my second collection, literally the second collection, and we’re going to be sold internationally, Macy’s is going to be carrying us, were going to be sold in the UK, in Canada, in Mexico. Literally all over the world.”
Haart also shared some of her philanthropic efforts in the last two years.; “I went to Ukraine twice. The first time in January 2020,” she said. “I went with a group, we drove seven ambulances from Slovakia to the frontlines in Bakhmut. I stayed in January, in Bakhmut, like literally got shot at, narrowly escaped being blown up multiple times, and we brought faxids, insulin, tourniquets, blankets, literally to the frontline.”
She went on, “And then the second time, I went back in June with a film crew and we opened the first women’s shelter in Ukraine for women who have been trafficked. I walked in an active landmine to bring awareness to the fact that Russians are leaving landmines in kindergardens, in children’s schools, in playgrounds. I basically walked from remote village to remote village handing out menstrual cups to women and teaching them about sexual health.”
Haart added, “And then in December 2023, I went to Gaza with a film crew. Walked with an active unit to show the world what was actually happening there and brought a lot of awareness to the terrorism. I mean I was there I saw it. So that’s what I’ve done in the last two years.
