CoComelon, which is the number one entertainment channel on YouTube right now, is heading out on tour, and it’s all for the kids!
Jaimie Selke, Ms. Appleberry and JJ gave uInterview an exclusive on what fans can expect.
“We’ve taken the platform and transformed it to stage,” Selke said. “It’s a Broadway style muscial that has special effects and over 20 songs that the kids all know and all love. There are also some new songs that have been created specifically for the show. From the time you walk in, from the time you leave, everyone’s on their feet. They’re dancing and singing together … It’s for families of all ages and the takeaway is it feel warm and fuzzy in your heart.”
They also revealed what they enjoy most about touring.
“My favorite moment in the show is to watch the kids, to be honest,” Selke shared. “It takes a lot of work and the creative team and the cast and the crew to bring this show to life on stage. Once we’ve done all of that hard work, my shift goes from stage to kids. Watching their reaction is the biggest takeaway for me.”
“Absolutely, and I think my favorite special effect is – well, there’s a wonderful part where it starts to snow over the audience,” Ms. Appleberry added. “It’s not actually the snow, but it’s to see everyone’s eyes light up. You hear everyone scream and they’re all so happy. It’s very special. It’s their faces. It’s so fun!”
