Greg Poehler is best known for his roles in Welcome to Sweden, Wine Country (2019), You Me Her and Moxie (2021), and for being the little brother to Amy Poehler.
In this flashback exclusive interview with uInterview founder Erik Meers at the 2016 South By Southwest Film Festival, Poehler talked about what it was like growing up with his big sister.
“I mean it’s it’s pretty clear cut that I’m the funniest one in the family,” he laughed. “I don’t think that competition is over. She may win like, the more public awards in the industry, but we both know there’s only one internal family winner and that is me, 17 of the last 18 years.”
Poehler continued on to talk about how he and Amy started acting.
“Yeah I mean, our parents were kind of our common foil, they were usually the ones we were joining up together to make fun of,” he revealed. “We had a lot of backseat theater, Amy and I. It’s wonderful to be paid to do that kind of stuff. I don’t feel like I’m competing with her at all, I got into it so late, and she had a big head start.”
