Netflix’s newest original, Resident Evil, is the latest video game to enter the film scene. The current number one show on the streaming platform is based around Japanese horror game Biohazard, and is set years after a viral outbreak that caused the global apocalypse. Jade Wesker tries to bring down those involved while trying to survive in a world overrun by effected individuals.

Connor Gosatti, who plays Simon, recently sat for an exclusive with uInterview founder Erik Meers to discuss some of his favorite moments on set.

“Toward the end of the season, I get to do some more crazy stuff, but I’m a sucker for the very generic more conversational scenes,” Gosatti revealed. There’s a great scene in episode four where Jade and Billie go to this party and Simon’s there. Simon and Jade get into this conversation, it’s very quick but a nice little moment, and I think that was my favorite scene to film because it brings the humanity back into the show since there’s so much crazy stuff going on all the time through both timelines. It’s nice to remember they’re both kids, they want to fall in love and they want to go to parties.”

Gosatti also divulged his favorite off set memory he shared with his costars.

“I mainly worked with Tamara Smart and Siena Agudong,” the actor said. “Very early on, the three of us became very close particularly because in the time we were filming, there were two timelines. So when one timeline was filming, we weren’t working. We had all that time off set to spend together. We were also laughing and cracking jokes. It was such a good support system. We went quad biking on the sand dune in Cape Town once. That was insane!”

Season One of Resident Evil is available for streaming on Netflix now.
