Cara Buono, best Karen Wheeler on the hit Netflix horror sci-fi series Stranger Things, talked with uInterview founder Erik Meers in an exclusive interview about the Red Dress Collection Concert event to promote women’s health and her favorite moments on Stranger Things.

Buono also notably played Dr. Faye Miller in the fourth season of Mad Men and Kelli Moltisanti in the sixth season of The Sopranos.

“I’ve never done a runway before, so it would be a lot of fun,” Buono said. “It’s so funny. This dress is very snug. It was comfortable, but it can’t really move too much in it, so we’ll see how it goes.”

Speaking about raising awareness about cardiovascular disease, she explained, “I’m very excited and honored to be part of this awareness campaign. My mother has heart disease. It runs in our family, so I’m very aware of lifestyle choices you can make to keep your heart healthy.”

“Try to manage your stress. I know that’s easier said than done. Exercise is so important for health. Foods that are healthy for your heart, low in cholesterol, getting a lot of sleep we know is like proven to lower our stress,” she added.

Buono also opened up about her experience shooting Stranger Things. “I love all of the Wheeler dinners and meals. I love big group scenes because I love watching other actors, so I really hope we can have some Wheeler dinner scenes and invite the kids over, and, you know, there’s always some subtext going on there, so that would be nice.”

The final season of Stranger Things does not yet have a confirmed release date as of now, but the Duffer Brothers shared that writing for the last season started last summer.
