On February 1, the American Heart Association had its annual Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection concert. The event brings women together to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease.
Folake Olowofoyeku, 39, who stars in the CBS comedy Bob Hearts Abishola, looked graceful in a red one-shoulder dress with floral embellishments. Her makeup and jewelry were very subtle.
In an exclusive interview with uInterview, Olowofoyeku explained how she stays healthy.
“Mind and body awareness,” she began. “That’s what I do to stay healthy and sane. Eating of the earth, as organic and natural as possible. Try to avoid sugars. And working out, making sure I work out.”
Olowofoyeku went on to talk about her experience, or lack thereof, with Valentine’s day.
“I don’t think I’ve ever participated in Valentine’s Day,” she revealed. “So send me flowers guys, send me flowers everybody. Yeah, I don’t think I’ve ever done anything but I would like to do something someday.”
