Chicago firefighters demonstrated the dangers of deep-frying turkeys recently, ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Footage released by the Chicago Fire Department (CFD) shows firefighters lowering a turkey into a fryer before flames erupt.

“CFD wants everyone to have a safe Thanksgiving holiday. Improper use of turkey fryers or frying a frozen turkey can create a fire hazard,” the fire department said on X.
