Keiko Agena revealed that her favorite memory of playing Lane Kim on Gilmore Girls revolves around learning its famous quick “walk and talk” style.
“Alexis [Bledel] and I, the very first walk and talk that we did,” started Keiko, “they were like ‘Oh that’s great, that was great. Can we do it a little faster?’ And it just became a part of the show.” she continued.
Agena described the style as “quippy” with a “rhythm.”
She also recalled doing that scene three times, as the character “Dean” was recast 2 times before Jared Padalecki was ultimately chosen to play the role.
