You might know David Koechner from Anchorman or The Office, where he played the misogynistic traveling salesman Todd Packer. Koechner, 51, recently reprised his role of Champ Kind for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues joining Will Ferrell on the boisterous set. “Well, there was a funny moment every day, so it’s hard to choose one,” Koechner told Uinterview exclusively. “Although the lighthouse scene was very hard to hold it together. That was a very arduous day because it was so ridiculous and we were all cracking up to tears. Honestly, to tears.”
Koechner recently wrapped the dark comedy, Cheap Thrills, set to debut this spring. The film marks E.L. Katz’s directorial debut. Uinterview caught up with Koechner on New Year’s Eve in Atlanta where he helmed the festivities for the annual Peach Drop.
