Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino married his college sweetheart Lauren Pesce Thursday.

Hours before tying the know Sorrentino posted a tribute to his bride.

“Today I marry my best friend , My College Sweetheart, My everything,” he wrote on an Instagram post of them sharing a kiss. “Together as a team we can accomplish anything. I am so grateful that you are by my side. I promise to be my best self everyday & make you proud to call yourself Mrs. Sorrentino. Love you with all my heart. Here’s to our big day.”

The wedding comes six months after The Situation proposed and less than a month after he was sentenced to eight months in prison for tax evasion.

Pesce originally met Sorrentino when the two were in college. They went on to date for nearly four years before breaking up when he became a reality television star. The two got back together in 2012, following the show’s end.

Pesce was once a lifestyle blogger, writing “The Style Bae.” Her last post was over a year ago, on February 15, 2017, but she is active on her Instagram.

Currently, she’s a real estate agent for VRI Homes in Monmouth County, New Jersey.

While Pesce wasn’t a fan of Jersey Shore, she did join Mike on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars back in 2015. But that’s not all she did with Mike. She was apparently a huge reason for Mike getting over his addictions and joining Narcotics Anonymous.
