Who Is Bob Saget’s New Wife Kelly Rizzo?

On Sunday in Santa Monica, California, Full House star Bob Saget married Kelly Rizzo.

A day after the wedding, Saget posted a wedding photo of the newlyweds. “Okay, so we went and did it,” he wrote on the Instagram post. “And damn are we happy.”

Saget proposed to Rizzo, a 39-year-old food and travel blogger, and host of Eat Travel Rock TV in November as they were watching Stranger Things on an iPad. “I got up to go to the restroom, and I opened the safe and I took out a ring that I had been hiding for four days and I got on one knee,” he recalled to People about the proposal. 

After splitting from his first wife of 15 years, Sherri Kramer, who he shares three daughters with, Saget previously told Closer Weekly that he didn’t think he’d be in a relationship again. “She’s a great person, and most miraculously of all, she understands me and I understand her. She’s very pure of heart,” Saget said of Rizzo. 

The couple’s wedding guest list included singer John Mayer, who later took to Instagram to congratulate the couple. “Like I said, I had a thing last night. And what a beautiful thing it was. Congratulations Kelly and Bob!” the singer wrote.

Saget and Rizzo first met in 2015 through a mutual friend and since then have traveled the world together and have frequently shared moments from their trips on their social media.

Recently, Saget reprised his Full House character Danny Tanner on Fuller House and he is expected to host ABC’s new Video After Dark, according to a Variety report.
