Wendy Williams Files For Divorce From Husband Kevin Hunter After Cheating Allegations

Wendy Williams and husband and manager, Kevin Hunter are officially calling it quits.

The daytime talk show host filed for divorce Thursday after two decades of marriage.

“Thank you to everyone for respecting the family’s privacy during this time. Kevin is supportive of Wendy and they are working through this process together,” the personal representative for Wendy Williams said in a statement. “No additional comment will be provided at this time.”

Williams hosted her show Thursday’s sans wedding ring and did not comment on marital issues.

The breakup news comes after a difficult time for the TV personality, who revealed she had been recently been living in a sober house to deal with her long-time cocaine addiction.

Williams had taken a break from the Wendy Williams show from January until March for medical issues. The star was in recovery from a fractured shoulder and suffers from Graves Disease.

In 2017, Williams said her husband has been a “pillar of strength” and been very helpful throughout the diagnosis.

“My husband was extremely concerned,” she said. “He’s not just my husband, he’s my business partner, one of the executive producers on the show and he’s also my manager. He and I are glued at the hip.”

However, they have had their struggles. Hunter cheated on Williams right after they gave birth to their son, a painful period she described in her memoir Wendy’s Got Heat.

And now, it is rumored Hunter has been cheating again with a woman named Sharina Hudson, who gave birth to a baby suspected to be Hunter’s last month.

These aren’t the only rumors that plague their marriage. Hunter’s allegedly abusive behavior ultimately led to the unraveling that prompted Williams to relapse.

“She would hide in the bathroom and tell me to knock on the door when he left the office so she wouldn’t have to see him,” an intern from Williams’ former radio show told The Post.
