Netflix Picks up Black Mirror
Netflix has released a new trailer for Black Mirror. The show has been described as “a Twilight Zone for the digital age,” and is comprised of stand-alone dramas that explore techno paranoia. Black Mirror has already had two successful seasons, receiving praise from numerous critics and boasts a perfect score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The British television show promises new terrifying plots in its upcoming Season 3. In the trailer, we see the show’s dark satire on modern technological reality. “In this world, we’re all so caught up in our own heads, it’s easy to lose sight of what’s real,” one of the characters says.
Talented actors Bryce Dallas Howard, Benedict Wong, Mackenzie Davis, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jerome Flynn and Kelly MacDonald are on the cast of this season of Black Mirror.
The new episodes will be released exclusively on Netflix on Oct. 21. Given the show’s dark themes, this release is perfectly timed just before Halloween.
The trailer was released on YouTube yesterday.
