VIDEO: Ukraine Attacks Russian Black Sea Gas Platforms With Naval Drones

Ukraine’s navy said on Dec. 7 that it had used drones to target gas platforms in the Black Sea that Russia had been using as “naval observation posts” and radar stations.

The navy pointed to fire-detecting NASA satellites, which showed fires at sea at the time of the attack.

The navy said some of the sea drones were “used as carriers of air drones.”

Imagery from an air drone showed two men, described by the navy as Russian troops, on a platform.

Last month, Ukraine launched a missile strike deep into Russia for the first time using U.S. long-range missiles.
