On Monday, President Donald Trump quickly deleted a tweet, in which he was encouraging Dancing With The Stars fans to vote for Sean Spicer.
“Vote for Sean Spicer on Dancing with the Stars,” the president tweeted, according to screenshots of the tweet shared by other Twitter users. “He is a great and very loyal guy who is working very hard. He is in the quarterfinals – all the way with Sean! #MAGA #KAG.”

Later on, he quickly deleted the tweet and replaced with the following, “a great try by @seanspicer. We are all proud of you!”
The 48-year-old, former white house secretary, Spicer, was one of the contestants of 2019’s Dancing With The Stars. With his partner, Jenna Johnson, he earned 26 out of 40 possible points from the judges after their performance to the Destiny’s Child’s song, “Bills, Bills, Bills,” which was followed by his elimination from the show.
Following his loss, Spicer thanked the president Trump for his support. “I can’t begin to express how much your continued support has meant, especially during my time on @DancingABC,” he said.
Many Twitter users who took notice of Trump’s deleted tweet mocked the president for the move.
“Trump endorsed Sean Spicer on DWTS. He just lost,” actor Brian Tyler Cohen, said. “Trump went to Alabama in search of a stadium that wouldn’t boo him. LSU won for the 1st time in almost a decade. Trump endorsed Bevin in Kentucky. A Democrat won in America’s reddest state. Keep endorsing your friends, Donald.”
