Travis Kelce wrapped up his summer with the purchase of a racehorse appropriately named: “Swift Delivery.”

Travis confirmed the purchase on an episode of the New Heights podcast, which he and his brother Jason Kelce host.

At one point during the podcast, Jason asked his brother if the name “Swift Delivery” influenced the decision to purchase, given his ongoing relationship with Grammy-winning pop superstar Taylor Swift.

“When the stars align, it feels good to jump aboard,” he replied.

Swift Delivery is a three-year-old gelding bred in Kentucky by Hunt-Steeple Hill and trained by Mark E. Casse. The horse raced for Team Valor International from 2023 to 2024 and won a race at Gulfstream Park in Woodbine, Florida before ownership was transferred to Travis, Alex, and Bruce Zoldan, who are close friends.

“They asked me if I wanted to jump in on a three-year-old that they had, and the name, it made sense to team up on this one, Swift Delivery,” he added.

The singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end have been involved in a highly publicized relationship. Kielce first attempted to meet Swift at her Eras Tour Show in July 2023. Since then, the two have been spotted at each other’s events, with Kelce being spotted at numerous other shows of the Eras Tour and Swift making an appearance at Super Bowl LVII earlier this year, in which the Chiefs won against the 49ers, 25-22.

Swift’s appearances at Kelce’s games also received notoriety for drawing in larger audiences to the NFL; this year’s Super Bowl garnered an audience of roughly 123 million viewers, the most viewership for a televised U.S. broadcast since the Apollo moon landing in 1969.

Swift’s Eras Tour is expected to conclude on December 8 in Vancouver, while Kelce and the Chiefs are aiming for a three-peat for the upcoming NFL season, a feat that has never been done before in the League’s history.
