Teresa Giudice Says She Will Separate From Husband Joe Giudice If He Is Deported

Teresa Giudice, former Real Housewives of New Jersey star, announced if her husband, Joe Giudice, is deported back to Italy they will most likely separate.

Both Teresa and Joe were convicted and sentenced to prison for fraud. Teresa completed her sentence of 11 months for loan fraud and returned back to New Jersey to take care of the couple’s 4 daughters. But her husband, Joe was not so lucky and received a much longer sentence. Joe was convicted of bankruptcy fraud in 2014 and is set to be released in March of 2019. But as of October 2018, a judge ruled that Joe would be deported back to his home country of Italy after his release.

Teresa has always played the supportive wife role and at first, she seemed open to the idea of moving to Italy. She thought she would bring the girls to be with Joe and that they would be a happy family again.

But now, after months of separation, Teresa seems to have different plans.

Teresa was always known on RHNJ for her fierce love of family and fiery personality. So when word of a possible separation got out, Teresa wanted to set the record straight. She is doing this for her, and her daughters.

“I never thought I’d be in this position. I have to stay strong. I have four beautiful daughters and they need their mommy.” Giudice explained during an interview with Good Morning America.

Before Joe went to prison, Teresa shied away at the term divorce. But now that she’s been separate from him, she’s starting to embrace the single mom lifestyle and is realizing it may be more beneficial for her and her daughters. She was even seen wedding ring-less at daughter Gia’s birthday party on January 8.

Teresa has confirmed she had spoken to Joe about these things and he understood. Teresa and Joe both know their daughters are their priority and they come first.

On March 14th, Guidice was released from prison and is waiting in a Pennsylvania Detention Center awaiting deportation back to Italy.
