The Grammy-winning singer took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes footage of her rehearsals ahead of the Formula 1 Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, Saturday night. She posted a video of her singing her 2012 hit song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”
It has been quite a long time since the singer performed live. Her last major concert was the final night of her mega-successful 1989 tour. Swift has had a tumultuous year of breakups (with Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston) and feuds (with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian).
Fan theories have been pointing to Oct. 22 as the magical date when Swift will either announce or release a new album, as it will have been two years since 1989 was released. It seems like the singer has this habit to announce albums in October. Her friend model Gigi Hadid revealed to ET in September that the singer was “back to work in the studio.”
But the pop star is not the only famous face taking the stage this weekend during the Grand Prix. Rapper Usher also is expected to headline a concert the following evening.
