Solange Knowles’ Album ‘A Seat At The Table’ Hits Number 1 On Billboard 100

After spending three years making her album A Seat At The Table, Solange Knowles has climb to number one on the Billboard 100 charts, powered by fan favorite singles “Don’t Touch My Hair” and “Cranes in the Sky.”

A Seat At The Table is her first album after her EP True in 2012. Positive reviews have helped generate buzz around the release. “Thankfully, Solange’s A Seat at the Table is the journal we don’t get the time to write, the conversations we don’t get to have and the exclamations we’re too tired to repeat,” noted BET.com

Fellow artists have also been been showing her love.

Knowles’ Number 1 made her and sister Beyonce the third set of siblings to achieve Billboard Number 1’s after Michael Jackson and sister Janet Jackson and Master P and brother Silkk the Shocker.
