Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to criticize Kanye West for his latest rant during a show in Sacramento.
West arrived over an hour late to his last concert, performed just three songs, and then ranted for fifteen minutes before canceling the show and leaving the stage. The rant ranged from political to complaints about the industry and his fellow artists. “Beyoncé, I was hurt because I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over ‘Hotline Bling,’” West lamented to the uninterested crowd. “Now don’t go trying to diss Beyoncé. She is great. Taylor Swift is great. We are all great people. We are all people. But sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forgetting who we are just to win. F–k winning. F–k looking cool. F–k being cool.”
West left the stage. He was admitted to the hospital the following day for “exhaustion” and canceled the rest of his Saint Pablo tour.
Apparently Snoop is just as confused as West’s concert attendees and had trouble understanding the rant as well. He posted videos of the rant while he lit up in the background. “That n—a crazy,” he started. “He picked the wrong night to vent like that. Them Sacramento n—as ain’t feeling that s–t.”
“I smoke weed,” he continued, taking a drag. “Weed don’t make you do that. What the f–k is he on?”
