i feel like #InMyBlood is perfect. it acknowledges the negative emotions that so many people feel when they’re low or suffering, but it also emphasises how you cannot give up because it does get better. it’s so raw and true and i adore that.

Mendes is glad that his new music is getting such positive responses, as he is trying to make more mature music for his next album. “The only way we’re going to step up—regardless of my singing or the ways the melodies are or production—the only way things are going to get better is if it’s more honest.'” he said in an interview. “You know what I mean? How raw can we get? Let’s work back from there.'”
Overwhelmed with the love! Reading everything you guys are saying, thank you so much!
