Shannen Doherty Says Exercising Helps Her After Chemotherapy In New Video

Beverly Hills, 90210 star Shannen Doherty, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, says that exercise is helping her recover after chemotherapy. The brave 45-year-old actress has been documenting her battle with the illness on her Instagram account, @theshanado.

Doherty recently shared a number of inspirational videos on Instagram, where she describes her workout session on the day after chemotherapy. Despite the painful effects of the treatment, Doherty is seen smiling and exercising with her personal trainer, Neda.

Doherty credits her personal trainer for helping her move and “get the toxins out”.

The actress says that “moving helps so much with the healing process,” although “it is not always easy and sometimes I can’t do it the next day.” Doherty displays strength and spirit in fighting the illness, ending her posts with the hashtags #beastmode, #fightlikeagirl, and #warrior.
