Reality TV Star ‘Mama June’ Arrested In Alabama Allegedly In Possession Of Crack Cocaine & Pipe
On Wednesday, June Shannon, most known as Mama June from the reality shows Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and Mama June: From Not to Hot, was arrested on drug possession charges in Alabama.
Reportedly, Shannon and her boyfriend of three years, Eugene Doak, were arrested at a gas station in Macon County where he was heard threatening her. But according to reports, during the course of investigation authorities found drugs and drug paraphernalia, including crack cocaine and a crack pipe.
Shannon was then arrested on possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia charges, meanwhile, Doak was charged with third-degree domestic violence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to a spokesperson for the Macon County District Attorney’s Office, Shannon’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 27.
Shannon, 39, who grew to fame due to her reality-star daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, has previously said that she wanted to marry Doak. But in a trailer released last month, Shannon and Doak appeared to be having problems. With Doak even telling Shannon, “I have no sympathy for you,” as he walked away, leaving her crying on her bed.
