Quentin Tarantino and wife Daniella Pick attended the 16th Rome Film Festival this week. The director took part in one of the Rome Film Festival’s “close encounter” Q&A sessions, where he took questions from the local audience.
Tarantino was honored this year at the Italian festival with a lifetime achievement award, also given to the director, Tim Burton.
After the COVID-19 pandemic put the in-person 2020 festival to a halt, fans were happy to be back in person this year. Prior to the festival, Antonio Monda, the artistic director, confirmed the event’s return to the Auditorium Parco Della Musica and other locations for this year’s events.
Tarantino was celebrated for his exquisite work on popular movies such as Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Django Unchained.
The festival is set to end on October 24, closing with Oscar-winner Chloe Zhao’s Eternals, the new Marvel film starring Angelina Jolie.
