Putin Says Russia Doesn’t Have Enough Weapons & Drones To Win Ukraine War

Russia does not have enough weapons and drones to win the war in Ukraine, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Ukraine has been receiving massive military support from Western countries, while Russia’s resources are dwindling.

Putin spoke about this issue during a meeting with pro-war bloggers that took place at the Kremlin. At the meeting, he admitted that he does not believe that Russia has enough military hardware to win the war.

He asserted that the government is trying to produce as many weapons as it can.

“During the course of the special military operation, it has become clear there are shortages of many things – precision-guided munitions, communications equipment, aircraft, drones and so on,” Putin said.

When speaking about Russia’s resources he commented, “We have them, but unfortunately we don’t have enough of them.”

Because Russia is experiencing a shortage it has stopped Moscow from going through with a full-scale invasion of the Ukraine.

Russia has resorted to using drones and has deployed a huge number against civilian targets in Ukraine.

The drones are difficult to navigate, especially the Iranian-made Shahed-129 drone. They are also utilizing naval missiles which they are aiming at residential buildings in the Ukraine.

While Putin admitted these struggles, he also claimed that Russia has been able to increase its drone production to almost three times the amount as before. But he said that a tenfold increase in weapons is needed.

Putin also asserted that Russia has done a significant amount of damage to Ukraine and believes that Russia can still occupy more land, despite the lack of weapons. He reaffirmed his belief that Russia is winning the war, a claim that is contradicted by U.S. and NATO experts, who say that Russia has suffered massive casualties in the war so war.

IN MEMORIAM 2022: 100 GREAT CELEBRITIES WHO DIED IN 2022

According to a report from the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Western sanctions have blocked Russia from obtaining components that are essential to creating the advanced weaponry they require. “While the quality of the military equipment used by the Ukrainian army continues to improve thanks to the Western aid, the quality of Russia’s weapons continues to degrade,” the report states.

Ukraine has received massive aid from Western countries which includes advanced tanks, the German Leopard 2, and the British Challenger 2, with more shipments planned.

A leak of U.S. military documents recently revealed that the U.S. believes Putin is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer.
