Pamela Anderson has sparked a huge backlash for her Native American Halloween costume.
The star posted photos on Instagram of her costume, which was immediately panned. The photos show Anderson wearing only white underwear and a traditional Native American headdress, which caused hundreds of disapproving comments from her fans.
Fans are calling Anderson out for cultural appropriation from the photos she shared to Twitter. In the first photo, Anderson is seen covered in white paint and topless, while holding a headdress in her hand. The second photo she shared, shows the actress actually wearing the traditional headdress while posing for the camera.
Many users accused Anderson of being racist and insensitive, asking that she remove the post from the site.

“Native culture is not for playing “dress up” in on Halloween or any other time. Stop.” one user posted.
Anderson has yet to comment on the backlash but also posted a photo to Instagram of her costume with the caption reading: “Whenever you do something that is not aligned with the yearning or your soul—you create suffering. Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it.
