Ozzy Osbourne has issued a backhanded apology to Britney Spears for his recent criticism of her dance videos. Though he apologized, he also said something that might upset her again.

In the latest episode of The Osbournes Podcast, the former Black Sabbath frontman addressed his previous remarks about Spears’ social media dance posts. “Britney, I really owe you an apology,” Osbourne said. “I’m so sorry for making that comment.”

However, Osbourne’s apology took an unexpected turn when he added, “It would be better if you didn’t do the same dance every day. Change a few movements.”

The podcast, which features Osbourne alongside his wife, Sharon, and children Kelly and Jack, saw mixed reactions from family members. While Jack, 38, laughed at his father’s suggestion, Kelly, 39, appeared visibly uncomfortable.

Kelly attempted to salvage the situation, stating, “Britney, never stop dancing. I love your dancing. It makes you happy, and I am so sorry if any of us offended you.”

Sharon Osbourne, 71, also chimed in, expressing her fondness for the “Toxic” singer before being interrupted by her husband. Ozzy insisted, “I love Britney Spears! But it’s the same dance every day.”

The family’s discussion took another turn when Kelly made a reference to Spears’ recent controversial knife-wielding dance videos, saying, “Sometimes she has knives.” This comment elicited more laughter from Jack.

Trying to end on a positive note, Ozzy reiterated, “I really do apologize. I love you, and I think you’re beautiful.” However, his son Jack couldn’t resist adding, “But mix it up.”

This public address comes in the wake of Spears’ own response to the Osbournes’ initial criticism. The pop star had expressed her displeasure with the family’s comments about her frequent Instagram dance videos, which are often filmed in her home.

Ozzy had previously stated he was “fed up” with seeing Spears’ social media videos, describing the situation as “sad, very, very sad.” Sharon had echoed these sentiments, calling Spears a “poor little thing” and describing her circumstances as “heartbreaking.”
