Jeff Bridges, 69, and wife Susan Geston just moved out of their $6.85 million Montecito compound and welcomed Oprah Winfrey, 65, into it. The couple had originally priced their home for $8 million when they put it back on the market, but their fellow Montecito resident and TV personality got lucky when the offer was reduced to $6.85 million again. Of course, either of the prices would have been fine for the billionaire media executive.

Montecito is one of the richest communities in the United States. It is located east of Santa Barbara. Winfrey’s latest California ranch is equipped with a shrubbery view, wooden framing on the inside and a pool outside.

Prior to buying Bridges’ home, the media executive resided in her $80-90 million home in the same area. This home was previously owned by aeronautical equipment mogul Robert Veloz before Winfrey bought it and redecorated it herself.

Winfrey owns at least four other homes across the country. Her other homes can be found in Orcas Island, Washington, Telluride, Colorado and Maui, Hawaii.
