Nick Cannon Hospitalized Due To Lupus Complications

Rapper Nick Cannon revealed that he will be hospitalized throughout the holidays.

Cannon posted an image on Instagram, captioned:

“For all who have been trying to contact me the last few days this is where I’ve been. And I will be in the Hospital through Christmas. All good though, Doctors say I will be back to normal before the New Year.”

Cannon was hospitalized in 2014 as well, when his Lupus caused his kidneys to become inflamed, leading to mild renal failure. Soon after, his lupus caused blood clots in his lungs. He told the press that, “[Doctors] kind of say my autoimmune [disease] is – like a lupus type of thing, but no one else in my family has it.”

The rapper was in the spotlight earlier this year when he finalized his divorce with Mariah Carey. He is currently expecting a baby with former Miss Arizona U.S.A. Brittany Bell.
