Miley Cyrus is paying homage to her character Hannah Montana with a new do she posted on Instagram for fans. Her long blonde locks and blunt bangs bring back fans to the early 2000’s when she made her debut as teen super star, Hannah Montana.

“You know guys, it was so hard going back and forth that I decided to just be Hannah forever,” Cyrus said. “She was getting a lot of press this week—thanks to me.”

The 26-year-old singer posted videos of her rocking out to her new do to old Hannah Montana Songs, like ‘Best of Both Worlds’ and ‘Nobody’s Perfect’.

“Except for me,” she piped in.

However, the singer was quick to mention that “Hannah’s punk now” she told fans as she posted a mirror selfie in a black oversized t-shirt.

In addition, she posted a video rocking out to the Migos song “Hannah Montana.”

In the show, Hannah would wear a blonde wig when she was a superstar, and her brown hair when she was Miley so fans speculated the hairstyle to be a wig.

However, Miley was quick to tell fans that the new hairstyle was all her.

“Who’s wigless and shook? YOU!'” the star posted to Instagram.

The star commented on the videos with captions like “Icons Only” and “I Win” on two pics which she #10yearchallenge.

On Sunday, the show celebrated the 13th year since the first episode aired which seemed to prompt Miley into changing her style and throwing it back to her child star days.
