Only a week after releasing her breakup ballad “Slide Away” and just a day after Liam Hemsworth filed for divorce, Miley Cyrus took to Twitter to address the rumors circulating around her eight- month marriage.
This comes after rumors that she cheated on her estranged husband. However, Cyrus vehemently denies these claims.
Cyrus owned up to a lot of past mistakes including past partying and her infidelities in early relationships.
“It is no secret that I was into partying in my teens and early 20’s. I have not only smoked, but advocated for weed, I’ve experimented with drugs, my biggest song to date is about dancing on molly and snorting lines in the bathroom.”
She even tweeted how she “lost a massive Walmart deal at 17 for ripping a bong” and “was kicked off Hotel Transylvania for buying Liam a massive penis cake and licking it.”
But, for all her shortcomings, she says when she and Liam reconciled, she was all in.
Many women of Hollywood have come to Cyrus’s defense, commenting on her Instagram post addressing the situation.
Actress Bella Thorne showed her support commenting “love this. So much from the heart. Takes a lot to say. I love every version of u. Perfection is imperfect and that’s a fact.”
“Thank GOD!! You are human! A woman who has lived. No need to apologize!!” Madonna wrote.
Other stars like actress Shailene Woodley and model Lily Aldridge left heart eyes on her post. And big sister Brandi Cyrus commented she was proud of her sister.
Cyrus and Liam wed eight months ago after losing their Malibu home in a wildfire, but announced their split earlier this month. Hemsworth says he wishes Miley “nothing but health and happiness going forward.”
