It looks like Oksana Grigorieva may have spoken out about her turbulent relationship with actor Mel Gibson a little too soon. The Russian singer/pianist paid a visit to The Howard Stern Show back in 2013 and said some things over the air that she was not supposed to according to the clauses of the couple’s custody settlement and now she will lose a substantial amount of the money Gibson owes her because of this.

Back in 2010, Grigorieva first accused Gibson of punching her in the face on different occasions and filed a restraining order against the actor. Gibson denied Grigorieva’a accusations but did admit to “slapping” his then wife in the face after she allegedly shook their daughter, Lucia.

After incriminating tapes were released in 2011 with Gibson shouting derogatory language at Grigorieva during a heated argument, it looked like Grigorieva would come out on top. Following the release of the tapes, Gibson was given three years probation and community service after pleading no contest to Grigorieva’s domestic violence allegations. In addition to this, Gibson was also ordered to pay Grigorieva a whopping $14 million in their custody settlement.

However, when Grigorieva paid a visit to The Howard Stern Show three years later in 2013, she spoke out about Gibson’s domestic abuse even though the couple’s confidentiality agreement specifically stated for her to remain silent. For violating the agreement, Grigorieva will now only receive $250,000 of the initial $14 million she was set to receive. Gibson is also still granted permission to see his daughter Lucia, who is now six-years-old.
