Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have finally found a place to call home. After stepping down as senior members of the British royal family then moving to Vancouver and to Los Angeles, it appears as the couple has officially bought a family home in Santa Barbara.

A representative of the couple shared with People that they purchased a home in the oceanside town in July, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their family home in July of this year, They have settled into the quiet privacy of their community since their arrival and hope that will be respected for their neighbors, as well as them as a family.”

Since the couple left their royal duties and made the trip across the pond, they have not been able to feel fully settled and secure in their home. Most recently they were living in Tyler Perry’s $18 million mansion in Los Angeles, Markle’s hometown. However, due to privacy and safety concerns the home was temporary.

The couple now hopes, their move to Santa Barbara will be permanent and provide a safe place for their one-year-old son Archie to grow up and have as normal of a life as possible.
