Fox News host Laura Ingraham went after Taylor Swift on Tuesday.

The 55-year-old TV anchor tried to start a Twitter feud with the 28-year-old that night after one of the two Tennessee Democrats she endorsed, Phil Bredesen, lost his race.

“Hey @taylorswift13, haters gonna hate. #shakeitoff,” Ingraham tweeted after the election results were announced.

Swift, notoriously quiet on politics, endorsed two Democrats in her home state of Tennessee during early October. In the weeks after her endorsements, vote.org reported that more than 105,000 people had registered to vote.

Bresden would lose his Senate race with 43.9% of the vote. Swift’s other endorsement, Jim Cooper, won his race with a strong 67.8% of the vote, helping the Democrats reclaim the House of Representatives.

Swift would show continued support for the two in the weeks leading up to the race. After her concert endorsement, she would post to Instagram, explaining why she felt the need to speak up.

“In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now. I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country,” she wrote at the time. “I believe in the fight for LGBTQ rights, and that any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender is WRONG. I believe that the systemic racism we still see in this country towards people of color is terrifying, sickening and prevalent.”

Swift even voted early this year and announced it on another post. She wrote, “These two Tennessee women voted for the candidate who has proven himself to be reasonable and trustworthy. We want leadership, not fear-based extremism. Early voting goes til Thursday and Election Day is November 6. Please don’t sit this one out.”

Ingraham is best known for going after school shooting survivors on twitter. When Parkland survivor David Hogg was rejected by 4 colleges, she tweeted, “David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA…totally predictable given acceptance rates.)”.
