Rapper Kodak Black and three other associates were arrested on drug and weapon possession while trying to cross the border into the U.S. from Canada.

Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was found by police carrying marijuana and an undeclared Glock 9 mm in his Cadillac Escalade.

Black was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana; he was taken to the Niagara County Jail, where bail was set at $40,000.

He was released on Thursday and was seen leaving with a wad of cash covering his face from TV cameras and bystanders.

Black blames the entire mishap on his GPS. He alleges that he intended to drive from Detroit to Boston, but his device directed him to drive through Canada, New York and Massachusetts.

He didn’t realize he was in Canada until he had to present his passport and continued on route where he got arrested trying to get back to the U.S.

Because of his arrest, Black was forced to miss two concerts in Boston Wednesday night.
