Wednesday night’s Game of Thrones premiere was like a family reunion. The show brought back many of its actors as new character’s in the show’s final season. Kit Harrington and wife Rose Leslie, who met on the series, looked particularly nostalgic on the red carpet.

The red carpet was adorned with actors and actresses who have been part of the show throughout its eight-year year run. It was a joyous occasion celebrating Games and the stars who came to symbolize it.

Esmé Bianco, who played the red-haired aspiring madam Ros until season three, told Mashable she wished her character could have had at least one scene where she rode a horse in “any context.”

“I was a bit jealous in the last season when they had all of those battles north of the wall,” she added, “that would have been kind of cool.”

Many cast members said they wished their characters could have met each other while the show was still filming. Kristian Nairn, who played Hodor, said he wished could have met is the similarly tall Brienne of Tarth. Nairn brought his own chair so that he could relax on the carpet and talk to reporters in true “Hodor style.”
