Kesha, who has been involved in a protracted legal battle with Dr. Luke, is slamming Donald Trump for his words about former Miss Universe Alicia Machado during last Monday night presidential debate.

I want to give my support and respect to you, Alicia. You did not deserve to be shamed by this monster. Your body is NO ONE else's business. Donald Trump said that your body or weight was an issue (which makes me so sad and just sick). but, I find the real problem here being his bloated, arrogant ego and offensive, racist, misogynist verbal diarrhea. he is a bully. WORDS mean something, and can be extremely hurtful and dangerous. They stay deep inside you and can affect your emotional and mental health. I know this from personal experience. They are hard, and sometimes impossible, to ever forget. please don't let him get to you any longer, instead realize that you are a strong woman and a beautiful role model for standing up and telling the truth, even if it hurts to remember it. much love, and mad respect ❤️??❤️

Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton criticized her opponent Trump during the debate for his denigrating comments about the former Miss Universe.

Kesha showed her solidarity with Machado on Instagram. “I want to give my support and respect to you, Alicia,” she wrote. “You did not deserve to be shamed by this monster.” The singer called Trump a “bloated, arrogant ego and [guilty of] offensive, racist, misogynist verbal diarrhea.”

Kesha has been also a frequent target of body shaming. On her Instagram, she dedicated several posts to defend herself against bullies. Previously, she accused her former producer Dr. Luke of sexual and emotional abuse.

The singer is now moving forward with her career while her case with Dr. Luke is still ongoing. This year, she embarked on the F*ck the World tour with her newly created band Kesha and the Creepies. She says she has provided 28 new songs to her record label, hoping to release new music soon.
