Kerry Washington and husband Nnamdi Asomugha are welcoming son Caleb. Washington gave birth to Caleb Kelechi Asomugha on Oct. 5. They are already parents to a two-year-old girl, Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha.
Her pregnancy was made public in May when she walked the red carpet at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in D.C. Washington and her husband are known to rarely comment on their private lives.
The actress made it look effortless while attending events during the time she was pregnant. Fans were curious to know how Shonda Rhimes, the creator of the actress’ hit show Scandal, was going to deal with the pregnancy in the storyline of Olivia Pope, who had an abortion in the series. “As far as I know, we’re going to be hiding things. But stay tuned,” Washington said at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Golf Classic in June.
Washington, 39, married NFL player Asomugha, 35, on June 24, 2013, in Idaho.
