Kate Hudson had jaws dropping at the Venice International Film Festival with her black cut-out Mônot dress on September 4.

Hudson attended the Celebration of Women in Cinema and looked stunning on the red carpet. The actress made her appearance in the Mônot dress which had ovary cuts, showing off Hudson’s abs. She also wore a Crivelli bracelet and clear Manolo Blahnik heels with her outfit. Her stylist was Sophie Lopez.

On Instagram, Hudson posted her outfit and quoted fashion designer Coco Chanel in her caption. “‘Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off.’ I chose fabric…,” she wrote.

Cut-outs have been the trend of the summer. Celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Bella Hadid have been wearing the style on red carpets and Instagram pictures.

Some of Hudson’s famous friends commented on her post complimenting the look.

Ashley Benson wrote, “Kate!!!!!!!!!!!! What the actual. U look stunning.” Vanessa Bryant and Olivia Munn also commented under Hudson’s post with multiple fire and heart emojis.

Last year’s film festival was smaller due to social distancing guidelines. This year, more guests were invited and more looks turned heads and showed fashion is coming back in full force. Hudson wasn’t the only celeb to rock the cut-out dress trend.

Demi Moore also wore a cut-out white Mônot gown to the festival. Moore and Hudson took pictures together their designer dresses. Moore posted the outfit and posed with her two friends Eric Buterbaugh and Patrick Hilgart on Instagram.

Hudson also looked amazing for her film premiere Mona Lisa and The Blood Moon on September 5. This dress created by Valentino also featured cut-outs but they were covered with a sheer fabric. This dress was a floor-length red gown and more flowy than Hudson’s previous dress.
