Pop sensation Justin Bieber got so frustrated with the crowd in Manchester, Engiand, that he ran off stage to cool off before returning to complete the show.
This is the latest in a series of outbursts by the 22-year-old star. “I appreciate all the support, I appreciate love, I appreciate the kind things,” Bieber told his audience. “But the screaming in these breaks has got to stop. Please and thank you,” he said. “I don’t think it’s necessary when I’m trying to say something and you guys are screaming. I feel like I wanna connect with you.”
When the fans kept on yelling, Bieber left the stage to cool off. When he came back, he vowed just to play the music. “We’re just going to do the music. Obviously Manchester just can’t handle it, so let’s do the music.”
He had previously performed in the same city when similiar events occurred. To that crowd he said: “I don’t mind cutting the bulls–t because I don’t need to talk. I’m just trying to engage, but if you guys don’t want to do that, we can just play the music.”
And before Manchester, he told the crowd in Birmingham the same thing, saying “screaming is just so obnoxious,” but the crowd there did not listen either.
In May, the singer announced he would no longer take pictures with fans. “If you happen to see me out somewhere know that I’m not gonna take a picture I’m done taking pictures,” he posted on his now-deleted Instagram. “It has gotten to the point that people won’t even say hi to me or recognize me as a human, I feel like a zoo animal, and I wanna be able to keep my sanity.”
