Jill Scott is going to star in a 10 episode reboot of the 1996 film, First Wives Club. In it, she’ll play Hazel, a musician who’s lost her confidence after losing her shine. Hazel finds out her husband has been unfaithful and then she has to forge her own path.

But that’s not why Scott was trending on Twitter Wednesday morning. A video of her concerts surfaced, showing the Grammy-winning singer and actress performing oral sex on the microphone.

The performance pulled in everyone from new fans to Questlove.

Questlove poked fun at people surprised by the act saying, “Y’all thought she was incense and sandals huh?”

Scott also responded, tweeting, “I sing/act out all kinds of stories. You should cum to my shows. After a Jill Scott show, most people get splendidly laid by whoever they came with.”

She also added that fans who see her show “usually go on 2happier, more productive, focused, wealthy lives.”

Twitter reacted accordingly, both dressing up as microphones and referencing Scott’s role as Shiela in Tyler Perry‘s Why Did I Get Married?
