Jennifer Lopez Says Exercise & Mental Health Are ‘Correlated’
Jennifer Lopez recently collaborated with Bodyarmor on their new campaign, Choose More, to promote their low-calorie hydrating energy drink. The ad shows the 53-year-old superstar waking up at 4:45 a.m., drinking her Bodyarmor Lyte, and beginning her workout with an early morning run on the beach.
Lopez has always held exercise as a source of motivation. She likes to get her workouts in as soon as she wakes up, regardless of how busy her schedule gets.

The Hustlers actress says that when it comes to working out, she prioritizes things that make her excited as she rehearses for her upcoming new album, This Is Me… Now, which is expected to release in July.
While she prioritizes her exercise, Lopez has also learned the importance of giving your body a break. In a July 11, 2022, edition of her On the J Lo newsletter, the actress revealed that a series of exhaustion-induced panic attacks early on in her career made her realize the importance of rest.

I was in my late 20s and I thought I was invincible,” Lopez wrote. “Until one day, I was sitting in a trailer, and all the work and the stress it brought with it, coupled with not enough sleep to recuperate mentally, caught up with me.”
