Danny McBride and Walton Goggins’ Vice Principals is set to air this Sunday on July 17.
HBO has released a clip to tease the premiere episode in which the audience is introduced to the new principal, Dr. Belinda played by Kimberly Hebert.
Dr. Belinda serves as a mutual enemy for the men who are feuding for the coveted position.
The series follows a high school and its administrators. McBride will star as Neal Gamby, the divorced vice principal in charge of discipline at the school. Goggins, will play Lee Russell, vice principal of curriculum at Lincoln High. The two will be battling each other for the top spot of principal, but the latest clip shows a bump in the road.
Shea Whigham play the supporting role of Ray Liptrapp, the new husband of Gamby’s ex-wife Gale, played by Busy Philipps.
McBride will be executive producing alongside Jody Hill, co-creator David Gordon Green and Stephanie Laing, all Eastbound & Down alums.
