Justin Bieber Banned From Performing In China For "Bad Behavior"
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are officially married after a two-month engagement.
“I see no reason to wait. When you know it’s right, it’s right,” Baldwin told The Cut.
Yesterday, news broke that the couple got married in New York City on Thursday.
It was reported that the couple got married at the city clerk’s office.
The singer and model still plan on having a big celebration sometime next year and a religious ceremony that can happen within the next week, according to the People source.
Baldwin has taken the lead in planning the celebration and ceremony for the two. According to The Cut, she wants “lights strung everywhere.”
It hasn’t been confirmed when the couple first filed the paperwork to obtain a marriage certificate, as New York State marriage licenses can be valid up to 60 days immediately starting 24 hours after being issued.
Over the summer the couple’s engagement went viral. Baldwin and Bieber had gotten engaged after dating for less than a month.
The duo has been unstoppable since then.
Baldwin and Bieber first met backstage at The Today Show in 2009.
In 2014, dating rumors spread about the two, but both Bieber and Baldwin put them to rest by insisting that they weren’t dating.
Over the next four years, Baldwin and Bieber went back and forth between friends and lovers, until June when they finally made it official and within two months were engaged.
