Environmental activist Greta Thunberg has used Donald Trump‘s own words against him in response to his tweet asking for the ballot counting to stop. The tweet she references in her recent post was made by Trump in 2019, trivializing her Time magazine “Person of the Year” win.
“So ridiculous,” Trump wrote in a 2019 tweet quoting a post congratulating Thunberg for her award. “Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”

Though this is Thunberg’s first time going viral since 2019, her activism has not since stopped. She met with European Parliament’s Environment Committee to talk about the European Climate Law back in March, and with Angela Merkel back in August. Shortly thereafter, she, alongside fellow environmentalist activists, announced plans for a potentially virtual global climate strike.
