Game of Thrones Season 8 continued last Sunday with their third episode that featured the dramatic Battle of Winterfell. It was the franchise’s longest episode ever, as well as the biggest battle ever. So what’s in store for GOT’s next episode? A trailer was released to offer hints into the upcoming episodes.

Episode 3 had record-breaking ratings and was the show’s most-watched episode ever. That doesn’t come as a huge surprise given the general hype considering it marked the conclusion of a major storyline dating back to the very first episode of the show. The battle against the Army of the Dead has been won and Daenerys Targaryen played by Emilia Clarke sets her sights on toppling Cersei Lannister played by Lena Headey in King’s Landing.

Following Episode 3, Game of Thrones released the Episode 4 teaser video, and it hints at yet another fight, and teases an impending battle between between Dany and Jon’s forces and Cersei’s.

Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, says the fourth episode is definitely one of his favorites.

“One of my favorite episodes is 4 because the characters have seemingly got what they needed. The world is safe now. They’re celebrating and saying goodbye to lost friends. But as an audience you’re going, ‘This is only episode 4, something’s going to happen.’ And that’s the cool thing because I think the characters are aware of this as well. There’s something twisted and uncomfortable about it. It’s so Shakespearian.” Harington said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

The next episode is set to air Sunday May 5 and clocking in at 78 minutes, is sure to be another exciting one. The final episode is 80 minutes in length and will wrap up the show’s eighth and final season.
