‘Flip Or Flop’s’ Tarek El Moussa Files For Divorce From Wife And Co-Star Christina El Moussa

A month after separating, Tarek El Moussa filed for divorce from his wife and Flip or Flop co-star Christina El Moussa.

News of the filing came after Tarek reportedly discovered Christina sending inappropriate texts to the family contractor Gary Anderson. The pair is now dating.

Tarek was asking for spousal support, and also called for the judge to block any further requests for spousal support from Christina. He cited “irreconcilable differences” as cause for divorce, as per the law in California, and requested joint custody of the couple’s two children. A source tells TMZ, “It’s civilized, or as best it can be under the circumstances. They have to make it work if they want to continue monetizing what they do.”

Their separation came on Dec. 12, after an incident in which Tarek walked into the woods with a gun to blow off some steam. He claims he brought the firearm to protect himself against wild animals if one should approach him, but the police were still called.

“Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage,” the pair said. “We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed.”

Both Tarek and Christina have admitted to dating other people since they split.
