First Trailer for ‘The Karate Kid’ TV Series Reboot Premieres On YouTube
YouTube Red released the official teaser trailer for The Karate Kid TV series sequel Cobra Kai yesterday.
Ralph Macchio and William Zabka are back as adversaries Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence — and the new trailer shows that the characters’ rivalry is as strong as ever.
The trailer showed dramatic shots of students training in a dojo, flyers for Cobra Kai and, of course, Daniel and Johnny.
“Johnny,” Daniel said to Zabka’s character in the trailer. “You and I — this — we aren’t done.”
Macchio and Zabka both excitedly tweeted about the 1984 film’s TV reboot.
